Fly Shop: Minimalist Lanyard

Dave Beerbower, a Tenkara advocate, bamboo rod maker and leather worker, has made a beautiful, leather minimalist lanyard for not only the Tenkara fisher but for all. If you’d like to have an awesome looking and very functional lanyard get in touch with Dave (his email is below).  Here is Dave’s info:

I made a minimalist lanyard for Tenkara fishing. The holster in the rear holds forceps and the cork in the front holds your flies. The loop at the bottom is for a zinger with nippers. The loop on the fisherman’s right is a tether tied onto the forceps so they don’t fall in the water (ask me how I know this). The strand on the left is for whatever you decide you need; tippet spools, magnifiers, your precious fly holder…….
The body is made of three pieces of thin leather, glued and then hand sewn. All of the leather faces were tooled, including the neck strap, and finished with antiquing solution and sealer. hope you like it. I can’t figure out how to load pictures, so if you are interested, send me an email and I will send them to you.
