This is a cute little tip that has saved me time & money, and will help you guys as well. If you ever been to the Dollar Tree, you may have noticed you can buy a pack of 4 of those little .01 ounce tubes of Super Glue for $1.25. These are supposed to be single use but I stumbled on a way to keep them for months. I simply put them in a small plastic sealable bag. They last for months that way.
I’ve even kept one in my pack for use on the stream.
Of course, there are lots of uses for super glue, but the best one I’ve found is to pre-tie a dropper onto the bend of a barbless hook and apply a drop of super glue. Often, without a barb, the dropper will slide off the hook.
Another use it to secure a knot to a tippet ring or swivel if you’re worried about that crucial knot coming undone.
