  Dear Sensei,
  I have come to a crossroad in my gear decisions. My waders have developed several leaks, so I need to buy more Aquaseal to complete this repair. However, the company Gear Aid offers two choices of Aquaseal: “Aquaseal” and “Aquaseal FD.” I could not find an explanation of there difference between the two products. Do you have a preference?

  Hi Jim,
  
  My only experience has been with the two-part Aquaseal. It worked OK for the holes I managed to put in my waders. The Fd looks even better if only because it doesn’t require a catalyst.

  I am humbled by the Sensei backing my supposition. I will try to not let it go to my head. Most things slide off of it anyway these days.
